After an intense artillery barrage, the Volksgrenadiers of the 276th Division captured the town, but a swift counterattack by American forces pushed them back to the easterly outskirts. Now with the Germans gearing up for another offensive push, both sides prepare for battle, despite the already snowy conditions...
