Hello and welcome back to another Forgotten Hope 2 update.

Today we are starting with a Belgian weapon render as well as some changes to existing maps.

This dagger was issued during the First World War to Belgian Patrouilleurs, who used them in combination with pistols and grenades for trench raiding. Many of them were manufactured in Sheffield at the request of the Belgian Government in exile, and both blades and scabbards were recycled from older Mauser bayonets. Ours was made by Ashton.

Omaha Beach has received a 32 player layer. It covers the counter attack against the beachhead by 352nd Infantry Division's Kampfgruppe Meyer that never materialised in reality. This was a not insubstantial force of grenadiers supported by StuGs and Marders.

Ogledow's 32 player layer has also been changed. The tank KotH has been replaced by the foggy morning atmosphere of the historical battle where 501st Heavy Panzer Battalion was ambushed by T-34-85s of the 53rd Guards Tank Brigade. In this new version, the German team starts with 4 Kingtigers, but will lose 100 of their 500 starting tickets for every one that is destroyed.

Watch this video by Ts4EVER for more information. In addition to these two, the following maps have also received new or reworked 32 player layers through the actions of Pozzo: Alam Halfa, Bardia, Brest, Falaise Pocket, Fall of Tobruk, Gazala, Lebisey, Port-en-Bessin, Purple Heart Lane, Sidi Rezegh, and Vossenack.

Finally today we turn to Lebisey, where the historic water tower has been added to the map thanks to the work of Guinho, with additional changes to the map by CptBocquier including modifying the Sherman V model to remove the hedgerow cutters that had not been installed yet.

That's all for this week, but be sure to come back next time for another update. Until then, feel free to visit our Discord, our public forums, our Twitter, our subreddit, and/or Facebook pages to discuss this update and other news.
