Hello and welcome back to another update of Forgotten Hope. Today's update contains some Luftwaffe themed renders, including one very odd hand-weapon. We also have an announcement regarding the official FH2 Youtube page.

Up first, we have a brand new hand-weapon in the event you find yourself floating over the desert terrain. The M30 Luftwaffe Drilling was a hybrid weapon issued to German pilots in case they were ever shot down. Over 2,000 were produced by JP Sauer (also created the Sauer Pistole 38H) starting in 1941, and it featured two 12 guage shotgun barrels and a single rifle barrel. The weapon was intended to be used as a survival weapon, allowing the pilot to have some form of self-defense, and hunt game until they could be rescued. The M30 Luftwaffe Drilling was modeled and textured by Seth Soldier.

However, what good would a survival weapon do if pilots had no plane to fly in the first place? Next up we have a new plane for the desert, the Bf 109 F-4 Trop. This new variant included many upgrades from the older E series of planes. For one, the F series was much more aerodynamic than its predecessors. This was mainly due to all the redesigns of the fuselage, wings, and tail section. Yet this was not all the F-4 had available. A more powerful engine was added along with the addition of the new 20mm MG 151/20 cannons and the option to mount two more 20mm cannons under the wings. The Bf 109 F-4 Trop reached the front lines in June of 1941, and will replace the E-7 variant on some of our later desert maps. The MG 151/20 cannons and the fuel tank are both optional and will not be together as shown. It was created by Toddel.

We also would like to make one small announcement before we end today's update. Thanks to the hard work of our betatesters, Flippy-Warbear and Zrix, the Forgotten Hope mod now has its own official Youtube channel. Anytime a new video is created for FH2, you will be able to view it here.

That's all for this week, but be sure to come back next time for another update. Until then, feel free to visit our IRC channel and our public forums to discuss this update and other news.

Hello and welcome back to another update of Forgotten Hope. We are finally back with new content to show off, and today we have some brand new wheeled vehicles for your viewing pleasure. We also have an announcement regarding the new FH1 Forgotten Honor campaign.

First up we have the Citroen 11CV civilian car. The Citroen Traction Avant as it was also called, was a four-wheel luxury car produced by the French manufacturer, Citroen. A staggering 760,000 were produced from 1934 to 1957. Innovative for its time, the Citroen 11cv boasted an advanced suspension and the first front wheel drive for a car sold on the European mass car market.

Due to the lightweight design of the car, it was able to reach speeds of 62 mph (100 km/h). During World War II, it was especially popular with many organizations, most notably the French Army, the Gestapo, and the Wehrmacht. Players will be able to find the Cirtoen 11cv with both the civilian and Germany Army paint jobs. It was modeled and skined by Herc.

Next on the list is another wheeled vehicle, however this one was specific only to the German forces during World War II. May we present the German Sd.Kfz. 231. The 231 was an 8-wheeled armored car that first saw action during the invasion of Poland and the Battle of France. They also saw combat later on in the Eastern Front and in North Africa, however the extreme conditions of both locations proved too severe for the vehicle.

The Sd.Kfz. 231 was armed with a 2cm KwK 30 L/55 gun and an additional MG34 machine gun. With 8-15mm of armor, this armored car could travel at speeds up to 53 mph (85 km/h). The Sd.Kfz. 231 was modeled and skinned by Toddel.

Hello and welcome back to another update of Forgotten Hope. Today's update contains no renders or screenshots, but we have some announcements to make regarding the FH2 community. But first, please welcome spitfire05 to our development team. He will be helping us out in the coding department and has already created some interesting content for us!

Firstly, we would like to thank everyone for their support regarding the 2.25 patch. The overall response to the latest release has been generally positive, yet at the same time we realize there are some things that need fixing. The FH2 development team has been tediously reading your comments on the forums and we have already fixed many of the problems in the 2.25 patch.

Next, we again would like to applaud the FH2 community. This time though, it is for all those who voted for Forgotten Hope 2 in the Mod of the Year Awards. Despite two Normandy releases, Forgotten Hope 2 received only an honorable mention, but we are still grateful for those who continue to play FH2.

Now it is no secret that Facebook is being used by just about everyone these days from governments to celebrities. And its about time that FH2 used Facebook as well. Many of you have already found our page, but today we are announcing it to everyone. You can find us here on Facebook.
