Hello and welcome back to another Forgotten Hope 2 update.

Today is a bit of a refresh for some of our older American assets, bringing them more in line with the historical accuracy that we have always strived for.

Our M9A1 Bazooka has received a little update, adding the missing shoulder support bracket and arming it with the improved M6A3 rocket. The M6A3 rocket was an improvement over the older M6 and M6A1 rockets used with the M1 and M1A1 Bazooka. Not only did it improve the armour penetration by use of a copper liner instead of steel, it also was less likely to deflect due to its rounded instead of pointed nose. It was also fitted with a waterproof fuse and the fins were replaced by a cheaper cylindrical assembly that was actually more effective as well. IvanWazowsky has retrofitted both of these improvements to our original M9A1 made by Darren01 and PointBlank86.

When the M18 Tank Destroyers first underwent extensive testing they were fitted with the 76mm M1A1 gun. While the power of this armament allowed them to take on the heavier German tanks, the dust thrown up by the muzzle blast was excessive and would blind the crew until it cleared. As such, in February of 1944 it was decided that the gun needed to be fitted with a muzzle brake that would direct the blast to the sides. This was fitted to the new 76mm M1A2 gun, but quantities needed did not start to roll off the production lines until the summer. To cover the gap, production switched to the 76mm M1A1C gun, which was modified by the addition of threading to accept a muzzle brake in the future, though it does not seem like this ever really happened in great quantities. Our early (M1A1 gun) and mid (M1A1C gun) M18s have been modified from PointBlank86's original late (M1A2 gun) model by CptBocquier and McCloskey.

Finally we get to our venerable Willys MB Jeep. A number of new textures have been added to better represent how they were painted by their various users. We have also added tyre chains for use in the snow, the Browning M2HB has made a return, and the damage model has received an update. The textures and chains have been added by Matt Baker, adding to the original made by Rad and Toddel.

That's all for this week, but be sure to come back next time for another update. Until then, feel free to visit our Discord, our public forums, our subreddit, and/or Facebook pages to discuss this update and other news.
