The Big Red 2

This Update is a milestone of sorts, since it is the first one that is exclusively concerned with work done for Forgotten Hope 2. Future updates may return to Forgotten Hope 0.7 topics, but this one is just about Forgotten Hope as it will appear on the BF2 engine.

First of all, as promised last week, we have our newest member jodonnell's first effort, the Daimler Dingo scout car. The Dingo was a speedy and rugged vehicle with four wheel drive and five gears in both forward and reverse. It was well armoured, for a scout car, and sometimes carried a Bren gun or Boys Antitank rifle as armament. The Dingo was introduced in 1939, and was so successful that it continued in service until 1952.

Next we have ingame pics of the Dingo's heavier cousin, the Daimler Armoured Car. This was built as development of the Dingo, which included a Tetrarch light tank turret with a 2 pounder cannon. The Daimler was modeled by by Lude and skinned by AaronAsh and reworked for FH2 by Lobo and Rad.

Finally, we have several views of a guard tower and water tower. The guard tower was originally modeled by Mange and remodeled, skinned and adapted for FH2 by Rad. The water tower is a Rad original, made just for FH2.
